Another sunny day expected today with highs in the upper 50s before clouds return tonight under partly cloudy skies and lows in the mid 30s. We will see a shift in wind direction during the overnight from Northwest to Southeast. This will push warmer air from the South into Southern Indiana which will aid to our warming trend expected through Thursday. Temperatures are expected to be near 60 degrees Tuesday.

Tuesday will start out dry with rain chances increasing late Tuesday afternoon and early evening. A few stray showers may persist in our far Southeastern Counties through the predawn hours of Wednesday before completely drying out by Sunrise Wednesday Morning.

Wednesday looks mainly dry under mostly sunny skies with highs near 70 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms will then return during the predawn hours of Thursday. A few isolated strong to severe storms are possible but the overall threat looks low at this point and quite a bit of uncertainty still persists as of the latest guidance today but something to watch of course. The overall chance for storms Thursday is 70%.

Rain should be out of the area by Thursday afternoon with temperatures dropping to the lower 60s for highs before taking a nose dive Thursday night down to a low of 26 degrees.

Dry weather is expected to return Friday but it will be chilly with a high of only 36 degrees.
